Mouse?
Pest control man just came round on an 'urgent call' to catch a mouse that has been seen in our house. Nobody has been in all day but me and I definitely haven't seen a mouse ... even if I had I would probably catch it myself, having stupid cats teaches one to deal with one's own pests.
How odd! I can't imagine why it would be urgent unless someone rang earlier today.
UPDATE: Someone DID ring! The accommodation office rang me to say someone had reported what sounded like 'red mice all over the wall in the bathroom'. Pest control came round and left some poison but said he wouldn't be able to catch it. It's odd because I hadn't seen any droppings or holes except in the kitchen, and the mice were spotted in the bathroom - I guess we'll see if they eat their poison.
