Random thoughts
- Sometimes, there sure seems to be a lot of bitter people in this world.
- This is my favorite part of the winter season; when the days are becoming noticeably longer, the ground has begun to thaw, and you can almost feel the nature reawakening.
- I've read that 60 is now the new 40. I wonder if now that we are living longer, if some or most of us will feel less pressured to make improvements in our lives. Will a longer lifespan lead to an increase in procrastination?
- My GF asked me last night if I have any anxietes about turning 30 (I'm 27 now). Not really, in fact in many ways I welcome it. When 70 nears though, ask me how I feel about that.
- Death (or the process of dying) would be much less unnerving if it was akin to the Grim Reaper scene in Monty Python's The Meaning of Life- the Grim Reaper tracks you down, chats with you for a bit, then leads you away.
