(no subject)
So I'm working on a rather large painting. It's pretty big since I'm not a slap-paint artist. If I dont make it a bit realistic than it's not what I want. Not for everything, but I've had the idea for this painting for awhile so it has to end up just right. I'm already having trouble with that. Anyway, my wonderful boyfriend (Chris, for anyone who doesnt know) had to put on his playtime bdu's and pose for me on cold, wet sand so I could photograph him for reference on this painting. He had to lay around and be dead. He made a great dead guy.
It looks like we will indeed be staying at WIU. Well, I'll be staying, he'll start next year. So we're looking into the family housing there and other stuff nearby. My dad has said several times, we better not be living together. You'd think he'd see me as a growed-up by now, but I dont think he'd be ok with it for anyone. He wants us to go get married but we're not gonna get married just to make people more comfortable. Tonight he even mentioned we better not be sleeping in the same bed at Chris' house. Awww. How sweet.
Anyway, speaking of Chris...still. He got a giant 20 lb turkey for being a nifty worker and he brought it for us all to have at my family's Thanksgiving b/c he's coming over here with us. Of course, Dad has to cook it, b/c he's the turkey cooker guy. I made 4 loaves of crappy homemade bread and 2 dozen deviled eggs. We have a large extended family.
This is the longest update I've posted in awhile...and it was all pointless rambling. yay me. Arent you glad you wasted 5 minutes reading this. Aw now my life is exciting. I know, you want to hear every last detail. Ok then, more minute, senseless details to come...someday.
