Wow long time...
So...
I am going to try ONCE MORE to update this as often as I can..
I always say that, but never follow through. Since the last update I...well...hold on let me read what the last update was...
AH! The last update was about Big Joe! Well, since then VERY MUCH HAS HAPPENED. I'm talking an unbelievable amount. I will try to give a quick run-down...
-Still well on my way to being a nurse, getting AWESOME grades (nothing less than an A on any single quiz or test since I started this thing
-We moved AGAIN. This time into a house with Doms best friend Mike and his fiance. It is tough sometimes not having our own place, but we are grateful that they let him move in in exchange for help with the mortgage but it is FAR less than Dom would be paying on his own.
-I drive a ridiculous amount. RIDICULOUS. I spend my time between NJ and PA, driving back and forth at all hours of the night/morning. Just to give an idea of how much I drive: For my car lease I am allotted 10000 miles per year. It hasn't even been a year yet, and I am about to reach 20000. Woe is me.
-We had to unfortunately get rid of our 2 cats, because the new roomates have cats of their own :( :(
-I am in very good spirits since I invited music back into my life. I played The Producers pit, a show which I've been wanting to play FOREVER! And will continue doing music because without it I get very upset.
-I have started working weekends videotaping weddings again. It isn't my favorite thing to do in the world, but I need money while I go to school...
-My schedule is as follows: I have rehearsals in Delaware (close to where I live in PA) on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday. After rehearsal on Monday (runs till about 10 or 10:30) I huff it home to NJ where I have class in the morning. Then I have rehearsal again on Wednesday night, so I take the drive BACK again for a 3 hour rehearsal, and then drive home to NJ again for class on Thursday.
On Thursday after class I drive to my boss' house straight from school, a 90 min drive to drop off tapes and do business. Following this I drive right back to PA where I remain until Monday.
On Friday and Saturday I have weddings until about midnight. The weddings have me driving all over the damn place to who-knows where. It's different every week. Basically there isn't a single day where I'm not doing SOMETHING.
-I have gained back a lot of self confidence and have been reconnecting with a lot of dearly missed friends, as well as making new ones! My depression seems to have come to an end...it sure took long enough.
-OH here is something AWESOME! Oh a whim, I auditioned for the first production of RENT in Delaware ever and I GOT IN! AS A LEAD! Yes, in January I will be playing Angel in RENT...what an undertaking!!
We are already in rehearsals and its so crazy to think that I will have the chance to do something so epic.
-And finally, I have not stopped partying!! Having fun is my number one priority, and I refuse to sacrifice my social life for anything...I am just to young to let it pass me by.
A good example of the last point is a story from yesterday.
So yesterday was Wednesday. I have rehearsal in DE which I have to drive all the way from NJ to get there. Yesterday we staged "You Okay Honey" and "I'll Cover You". I hope I can remember all of the choreography!!! It was a lot of fun to do.
Afterwards I went to Doms to catch the end of game 1 of the World Series between the Phillies and the Yankees. My Phillies KICKED ASS 6-0!!! Tonight I am in PA until Monday, so I plan on getting some pizza, beer, and friends and kicking back to watch the Phillies REPEAT!!
Our friends Kelly and Janine were watching the game as well, they were doing shots of vodka out of the bottle. I really wanted some, and I knew that Kelly Janine and Dom were going out into the city to hit the clubs after the game. I decided right then and there, even though I should have gone straight home from rehearsal, that I was going to go out with them that night and have a blast.
So I started doing some shots as well and before you know it I was dressed, lookin' GOOD and OFF to the city!!
The night was pretty uneventful in the beginning, had a good time talking with some old friends we ran into and then we decided it was time to DANCE.
Oh, I forgot to mention, we were harassed by a homeless guy on the way to the club, which is normally no big deal but this one was particularly annoying! Janine scared him off though.
Dom was dancing with the aforementioned friends and I was dancing by myself cause I just do that sometimes..
All of a sudden up comes this gorgeous muscular guy and he starts dancing with me. I was like OH YEAH HONEY I STILL GOT IT. So we were dancing for about ten minutes until all of a sudden Dom comes out of nowhere and pushes the guy. That's all it took for a fight to break out. I got right in between the two along with Kelly and the other Matt who we met here. There were no actual blows thrown but shit was talked and in the end Matt, who was trying to break it up, got kicked out...I still don't understand why!
Dom walked out on his own accord and I, embarrassed, sat down.
About a minute later the guy that I was dancing with (Ralph) asked me if I was ok and if I wanted to dance again. Well just at that moment Lady GaGa came on and I was like HELL YEAH.
I feel bad, I really do. Yes I know I was getting to close for comfort with him but I couldn't help it, I had been drinking and he was talking me up and extremely good looking. In the end we exchanged numbers and he told me he loved my body and wanted to take me out, and that if he were my boyfriend he would never leave me in the club. I was a little taken aback by it, but I left just after that.
Anyhow we ended up getting in from the club at about 3:15. I left right from there driving home to NJ and got in at about 4:30, went right to sleep and woke up to my alarm at 8:30 to head off to class.
Tonight is game 2 of the World Series which I will be watching hopefully and Dom's sisters place. Let us all cross our fingers for the PHILLIES!!!
