I stayed home today because I had a fever.
I am better now. I'll just mention something really funny. I was YM-ing with Emile, a participant in the Y-Earth. He's from Lebanon. And he asked hows is everything in your country? I heard the people don't want the government, etc. Then he asked me: And what about the United States, what are they doing, are they interfering with your government?
I found it funny that he'd ask that thing about the US interfering. But then it makes you think right, about how other people find the USA. Are they always interfereing, do they always put their political, economic, "i'll-take-you-to-war" pressure on other countries?
ABout my country. I hope all works out well. I hope Arroyo survives this. And if ever she goes out, i want it to be democratic and proper legal means - congress / impeachment. Her address awhile ago was very good in my opinion. Congress, if you want her out, get your act together. Do what your supposed to, dont beat around the bush. I'm not really into all this, so I'm not a good person to quote, or even to comment about the whole situation! haha. But I watched the congressional session with them interviewing srgt. Doble, and they were asking sooooo irrelevant questions. How many wives do you have? AND THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO QUESTION HIM IN ORDER TO MAKE LEGISLATION. So were they able to come up with a law saying phone tapping is illegal? I guess not. Or if it is a matter of National security, is it legal? IF it is, WHO dictates what is National Security. ANd would those who dictate what National Security is need to ask from the Supreme Court consent (dang, the word is right at my tongue) to wire tap. Whats that word? Oh dear. I guess not. Perhaps...they are hiding something? Perhaps inside the tape are evidences against some of them, perhaps greater than that of Arroyo if ever there is any against her? Oh well. Whatever, its so frustrating. I dont want anythign to do with politics or our LEGAL SYSTEM that is so... frustrating.
I just need to say this. JUSTICE DELAYED is JUSTICE DENIED.
Tell me how can poor people survive our justice system? WIth the gigantic amounts in legal / lawyer fees. And the very slooooow judicial whatever thats called. The judges postpone, delay and take their sweet time.
Ok enough. About Emile. I feel bad for him that he's afraid of animals and yet he's interested in the environment. Perhaps it has soemthing to do with the war in his country? The environment, the destruction and killing, maybe? I'm not thinking, thoughts are soo magulo. I have to go na kasi. SOmeones gonna use the phone. and is in a very big rush!
