Yep, that's right. D-chan decided the other night that we were to video tape his Adventures of Making an Arrancar Cosplay. So his first "show" he showed people how to iron. This "show" he showed how to pin the pattern to the fabric, mark the fabric, and do pleats. "As long as you can count, you can make pleats" I think was one of his comments. It was actually pretty entertaining having him explain how to do things. I'm not sure anyone will be able to make hakama after watching his "shows," but he's having fun. I'll edit everything together when we're done and post it online or something. I'm sure it'll end up on my workshop site. D-chan might just have to get his own site soon. He said the next show he'll teach people how to sew. This should be interesting.
And yes, there was a bit of TV magic going on between cuts. I don't want him to be a retarded Arrancar after all. I checked his work and pinned down the rest after he put in anchor pins...only because I'm faster and I didn't want tonight's episode to turn into an all night affair. Surprisingly, his pleating was really good. I barely had to fix much. I did pin the crap out of them since we didn't really press them properly yet. So far he's doing much better than I had imagined. I'm so proud of my little dude.
