Its been awhile and Happy Holidays!!
Hey everyone, been awhile since I updated my journal, or even read entries. Employment will do that to you :-) Get to work a half day today. YEAH!
So, work is f'ing great!! No stress! Kick ass manager! Who could ask for a better job. I really like what I'm doing at Intel and I have impressed alot of people. They keep giving me more, cooler things to do :-)Hopefully this will turn to a perm position but I'm not getting my hopes up.
Christmas this year has been interesting. I just finally got caught up on all my bills on Dec 20th so thats good. On a budget though, I decided that this year I would be making things for people. I'm happy with the results of the gifts, but not happy with how time consuming making stuff is. I've been working on gifts for 3 weeks now and still haven't finished. Will finish the last 3 gifts tonight for mom, sis and Lester.
So Pyxz stayed the night last night. YEAH!! My sister rocks. Last year we didn't get to have Christmas with her since she was in New Zealand (Lucky dog). My favorite part of Christmas is the opening of gifts. To see the reactions of people's faces as they open the gifts I give them is just priceless and heartwarming. Also the family togetherness. Since my immediate family only consists of mom, sis and I, it means alot. Lester, mom's boyfriend is perfect for my mom, but not so great with us. Although, he has been making improvements and this year we didn't almost go to blows. Last year, on Thanksgiving, he pushed all my buttons, I asked him 3 times to change the topic and then I lost it. But he has since calmed down a bit and been much more enjoyable to be around.
I see that Guy and Andreas have joined the LJ community. Welcome gentlemen!
