YOUTH CAMP!!!!!!!!!

I leave tomorrow morning for youth camp. I'm pretty excited. YEP YEP!!!!!!!!! Last year was incredible so I'm expecting this year will be awesome as well. I leave tomorrow at 8 a.m and then come home friday evening. CAN'T WAIT>>>>>>> CAN'T WAIT>>>>>>

Ok... yea... I just got to finish packing.

Something happened to my pet rat. She apparently ate something fabric and it got stuck in her throat and now she's been gagging 24 7 to get it out... she can barely move... whatever it was caused her to get a bloody nose as well. My mom's going to call a vet to find out what we should do about it. We don't have any money for a vet visit now because money situations have just fallen by the wasteside... but at least we could talk to a doctor and find out if there's a chance it could pass through her system or if we should put her out of her misery... she's dying right now. I can see it. She layed in my lap cuddled up to me for 3 hours today. She is having a lot of trouble breathing too. I'm really worried about her. I know some people say, "Well, it's just a rat." But any of my friends and family that know Angel know that's she's just not any rat... she's become a big part of this family. You should have seen her earlier. My mom was cuddling her close and trying to calm her down because she was gagging and crying (yes, rats actually cry- sounds like a whinning puppy)... my mom really made a big effort to calm her down so she'd breathe a little more normally. It actually worked for a few minutes but then she started gagging really badly again.

Guess what happened yesterday? We had a really bad rain storm here but before we had the storm we had dust devils all over the place. Then there was a really big gustnado which everyone in town thought was a HUGE tornado... it looks exactly like a Tornado except the only big difference is tornados touch down from the sky and gustnados come up from the dirt on the ground and the wind working together. They look identical though. There was a HUGE one that we saw in the distance. I was at the church with two of my friends and we were outside at our fireworks booth trying to sell fireworks to raise money for missions. We were standing outside talking and my friend Tawny all of a sudden screamed. I turned and looked and the Gustnado was coming right at us. It was in the church parking lot. Just like a Tornado they can pick up a lot of stuff. We ran into the fireworks tent and grabbed onto these poles in the ground... we waited but apparently it turned.... literally this thing was way bigger then my house. It turned though and went towards these houses. It picked up this huge ladder and the ladder went flying over the roof of this house... now imagine if it had gotten us... it could have easily picked us up... there were tires flying all over the place and cars hitting their brakes everywhere as this thing was going by. Everyone was freaking out... ESPECIALLY ME!!!!!!!!! It was less then 20 feet away from me.... SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm just glad it turned when it did because I was holding onto the pole with my barehands and if the gustnado was strong enough then no amount of strength I possess would have kept me clinging to that pole... I could have been that stinken ladder flying over the roof of that house. Luckily no one died or was seriously injured. Then all of a sudden it started raining really hard. We ran into our fireworks tent. We had to scramble to get the tarps on the sides of the tent down so the fireworks didn't get all wet... but it was raining so hard and was so windy that we were having a lot of trouble with the tarps... they kept blowing into our faces and it was just us three girls. My best friend's dad and this other guy saw us and ran to our rescue... we were soaked really badly afterward... Lightning was striking the ground everywhere so we had to get out of the tent because it was filled with fireworks and if lightning struck the tent with us all in it... well... you can come to your own conclusions on that one.

Anyways... I better say adios for now. I have to go finish cleaning and stuff before I leave tomorrow for camp. I'll write about my whole camp experience when I get back on Friday.
