School is finally over, time for me to throw off the restraints that the school year puts on me and start a new life. I just sat through A Knights Tale, and it was interesting to watch it, especially towards the end.
So as I am in the second highest band at our school, I had to play at graduation last night, and it was cool to watch one of the speakers suddenly take off the gwn and break into a rap parody of the Real Slim Shady, god bless the power of humor. Then the taking of Diplomas begins, and that was interesting to watch, as a few days ago, one of the students in this class took his life, and suddenly, here is another student who hands the Assistant Principal a name card reading this students name, and suddenly, the whole senior class is on it's feet clapping for this kids memory, and it suddenly hit me, no matter how alone you seem, there is always someone there who will be with you if you need it, you just need to know where to look. needless to say, it was an emotional evening for everyone involved.
