Things of note:

1. Had my job interview. About halfway through the guy shifted to talking about when I started working, rather than if, so that was a good sign. And at the end he told me to go file my I-9 form at the career center (which I've done) and email him when I did (which I've done), and he would contact me again from there. (Plus put me on the mailing list and stuff.) The job is a position as a Student Aide, which isn't a very descriptive job title--Student Aides work for Security. I'll talk more about it once (if I can assume, which I think I can) I start working.

2. OBOC auditions. I still hadn't decided whether or not I wanted solos this year when I auditioned, but whichever the case, I got one. My first non-default OBOC solo. Yay? I was happier to get into both medium groups. We'll see how this solo thing plays out. Hopefully I'll do it justice... in any case, I am now in: Nicest Kids in Town from Hairspray, Under the Sea (solo #2...!) from The Little Mermaid, Another National Anthem from Assassins, and Dirt from Sweet Smell of Success.

3. Birthright is getting under way. I believe me saying that brings the total uses of the word "Birthright" on this blog up to... oh, eight now, I think. I know this because the GM discovered this blog a little over a week ago, and one of the first things he did was search for his name (no mentions because I tend not to use names, despite the fact I've mentioned him indirectly several times) and then for "Birthright". Birthright Birthright Birthright! Bwahaha. In any case, it's shaping up to be a pretty awesome campaign this year, so I'm happy.

4. Jay's is still an awesome diner, even if I was there earlier in the evening than usual.

5. OBOC scavenger hunt! Was much fun, though we don't know yet which team won...

6. I am discovering that I really need a standalone Classical Greek dictionary. The glossaries at the back of my textbooks just aren't cutting it anymore.

I think that's it? I'm off to grab dessert at Hillside and then homework. Then sleep. Yay sleep!
