...Sigh.
I wrote a really long entry that will be showing up at some point in... an indeterminate number of parts. See, the entry I wrote is longer than livejournal allows entries to be. But I don't know how much longer. If I cut it in half, will the halves be short enough?
Because yes, it's a long enough entry for that to actually be a concern. Be afraid.
But I haven't blogged in a while because I was writing that (and livejournal only lets you work on one draft at once, as far as I know...) so here are some things that have happened:
I got accepted to be a Freshman Fellow next year. I'll be living in Hollister 1, which means... I'll still be in the same building. I'll still be on the same floor. I'll just be on the other side of the building, in the only place even more secluded than where I am now. Isn't it great? So I get to completely circumvent the housing lottery, which looks like it's a real pain. I could figure it out if I had to, of course, but... I don't, so I won't. Yay!
The OBOC e-board has chosen its last three members (...the five main positions are elected from the group, the three "special chair" positions are appointed from a pool of applicants) so I have officially exercized my voting power or whatever you want to call it. Heh, for two of the three I kept them from being unanimous, but whatever. I'm not really disappointed, I just would have preferred a slightly different arrangement. (Ooh, mysterious.) It should be pretty great, next year...
Speaking of OBOC, the show is really soon. How did this happen!? Man, it's only my second semester and already it feels like time is zipping by.
Some people I know are working on designing a game, so I helped playtest it last weekend, and probably will again this coming one. I call it "Cauldron" for a complicated in-joke reason. I'm not sure why you would care what I call it.
I'm hungry. Yay!
