RE; Mercs
"A" bought me RE:M for 3DS yesterday, as it was on sale, and I wasn't willing to pay full price for it. Unfortunately that means that very little studying has gotten done since last night.
I have an interesting relationship with RE:M. I'm not really saddened by not being able to delete my save, but I still really enjoy unlocking skills, characters, and outfits. I am, however, not willing to pay $40 for a game I already have two variations of, each with some larger environments,nor am I willing to buy it used because there's a good chance everything would already have been unlocked. So my options were pretty limited. I had to hope that it dropped in price to a reasonable level, or just suck it up and not get to unlock anything.
Now that I have it I realize that $40 wasn't too bad of a price for it (though I'm still glad "A" waited). The online portions especially are very fun, and mixing skills to customize your character really extends the value.
The only issues I have so far are the lack of different costumes (Two per character is pretty pathetic), glitchy animations when enemies are far away, and smaller environments.
