[ Sheppard is sitting in one of the living rooms, flicking through the booklet the house has given him. He looks a little unhappy, but hey -- can you blame him? ]

Well this is ... cosy. I'd say homey, but the whole kidnapping routine tends to make me feel a little uneasy. Just a personal thing.

[ pops out from under the chair he's seated on. she was sort of napping there. and just stares up at him. ]

[ Sup, Idui? Sheppard sort of slowly lifts the booklet he was reading and peers at you. There are kids in this place? Still, he smiles. ]

Are you the monster from under my bed that mom always told me about? Because you know, I always imagined you'd be a little scarier.

[ crawling out from under the chair, she sort of rolls into a sitting position and stretching, kitten-like, before looking up at him, chirping good-naturedly ]

Oh you aren't? Well that's good, because I've been chased by some really scary monsters and it gets sort of tiring.

[ perks up! ]

monshtersh? mishter shaw monshtersh? were they shuper shtrong?

Big guys with really pale skin, really strong -- let them catch you and they suck the life right out of you. Pretty scary stuff, huh?

[ a long pause, while she thinks this through, and then, looking up at him from where she's plopped on the floor: ]

Well, they're more like space vampires than people really...

[ And since you're staying on the floor, Shepp's closing his booklet and carefully sliding himself down onto the floor near you ]

How big's this person?

[ the question goes unheard, because she's more occupied with scrambling up his arm now that he's on the floor. climbing up his sleeve, she hangs off his shoulder, looking quite comfortable there. ]

there are big people in shpace who eat other people? that shoundsh weird

[ Sort of awkwardly lets you crawl all over him, well this is ... different. But hey you aren't sucking the life out of him or anything so, not so bad... ]

Oh it gets really weird sometimes. Hey, you got a name?

[ perches comfortably just next to his head. ]

[ And now he's holding up the little booklet the house gave him. ]
