[Peach was lucky enough not to actually witness the first deaths, but it's only a few strokes after midnight when she hears the soft thud of a body hitting the floor. Curious, she peeps into the room in question and sees something pink crumpled on the carpet...]

[Catching up her skirts, she races across the room and falls to her knees in a frothy pink heap, catching Aeris' hand in hers and patting the girl's cheek.] Wake up, please! It's...it's going to be all right...
[Has she fainted? Her skin is so cold...but it can't be....didn't the last ones melt away...? Terribly distressed, Peach sits up and cries out the open doorway.] Help! Somebody, please help!
