[ Rose is aware of the leer he's directing at her and puts up her guard. ]

No, but who needs a doctor, anyway? Not good for much, are they. Pansy-ass 'Versity boys, the lot of them. Come with me, this doctor of yours'll never stand a chance.

[Rook leans into her personal space, smiling wide enough to show all his teeth.]

Someplace real nice, I can tell you that much.

[ Rose doesn't back away, but she gives him a glare. ]

[Rook's not exactly used to being turned down, so this gives him a bit of pause. Now he remembers why he steers clear of Miranda when he can help it.]
