What is it? What gets into our heads when we see something horrible? A horrible accident on the highway. Something keeps us from just driving on. Something holds us. But we don't stop to help. We stop to look.
but maybe that's ok.. the nature of people is that with time we fuck up enough that we accrue and strive for what we so blindly call wisdom when we cant ever really know anything but what we've failed at and managed to get lucky enough to survive through... no our society is based on watching and dumb luck... it seems like we're all living outside ourselves and its killing me to watch it... it would appear that if you have but an iota of common sense and and enough intelligence to use it you find the people around you for the most part dull and listless. this situation leaves one to wonder the nature of and people in general... what are they're worth?
no i'm tired of most of whats around us... as it stands life can simply be stated as such
Life is:
little moments of quaint and sporadic happiness stretched over the long spans of heartbreak and terror perched precariously on a tightrope held over an active volcano bubbling with doubt and reasons for why we fail.. and through all of it we take our deep breath each morning, put one foot in front of the other, and do our best to never look down.
but as i've seen it... there are so many people just walking across and falling in, and as we see someone falling.. its just in our nature to let them go and not think about anything more then how much more room we now have to go forward and we can speed up now.. or most likely, hmm that looks like it hurts... i'm most often annoyed by people's need to repeat themselves and restate the obvious as we so often do... like what this has all been.. just whats been infront of you and maybe you never realized it, maybe you never cared, but damn that's what to be said
