My tattoos
I dont know if anyone gets irritated with this, but I have heard it on a number of occassions and to be honest, I think this assanine comment, goes to show, that most don't think before they speak.
"Well how are you going to feel when you are old and your skin gets wrinkled and saggy, they will look ugly.." or something to that effect.
A few times I've replied with, "I'm going to be old and wrinkly at that point. Do you think I will really give a damn?" Honestly folks... give me a break. There is abolutely no reason for this form of thinking.
Also, people that think tattoos are ugly in general. I believe most people grow up in a household conservative enough to have been taught that the rules of society state, "Tattoos are ugly, white men do not like tattoos, nobody will hire you with tattoos because it resembles that of an uncivilized person... those of whom we've dominated and assimilated into our society to fit what we wanted."
