My first (of my last set of) exam is tomorrow morning at 9h. I have read over my notes and I realized that they were utterly useless. I couldn't even understand those I wrote about Heidegger (it's not surprising though, who can work with Heidegger and be comprehensible?).
After realizing my failure at any kind of studying for 490, I decided to go job hunting. Yeah, I know, I said I wasn't so stressed to work, but the 600$+ shopping stunt of yesterday with Gabrielle convinced me otherwise. So I just sent casual emails to contacts I have in agencies. Thing is, I happened to contact someone the day they got the perfect contract for me: 1-2 months as a documentation clerk (the thing I hate the least in secreterial work, I suppose) for a governmental agency. And I still can replace Lina come July. Interview is next week. Hopefully I'll be able to use all those nice clothes I got myself lately. I like to dress well, but I need to have somewhere to go to wear them!
In any case, the call came after I decided to take a walk down to Pharmaprix and to stop by the Starbucks on Sherbrooke corner Claremont for a little basking in the sun with a strawberries and cream smoothie and my History of the English Language book that I had stopped reading in March. Didn't get to read much, but I did get sun. And tomorrow'll be even better!
After I got back home, got the call for the job, then laid down for some more Angel. Almost through now, ending season 4. Me who's a self-admitted Buffy hater, I like Angel. I wonder what I'll watch when I'm through with him... I've been watching it for a while now. Hmm, I suppose I could get to Six Feet Under, since L. hates it.
All right, I suppose I could get off my ass and try a bit more of that book. Or try to beat the next monster in Crystal Chronicles.
