(no subject)
Last night I sang with Shira at the CJM Chanukah concert.
Today in the mail I received a box that which held inside a beautiful tallit and tallit bag, courtesy of my best friend in the world. Rach, you are awesome, thank you thank you thank you!!!
Tonight I sang Chanukah songs at Tot Shabbat.
Tonight I made and ate latkes in our traditional latke pan.
Tonight I lit the candles and sang the Chanukah blessings with my family.
Tonight I opened my presents to discover an awesome burgandy luggage set.
Despite all of these things, it still didn't quite feel like Chanukah. I went upstairs, opened iTunes, and found my recordings of The Chanukah Song by Adam Sandler. Upon listening to them, Chanukah officially arrived for me.
Whatever it takes, man.
