Well folks,
the decision was made last night that I will be playing the role of Marvel Ann in Psycho Beach Party this May!
While I really wanted the role of Chicklet, the multiple-personality-disorder teen who loves to surf and whose sexually liberated alter ego likes to shave people while theyre sleeping. But when I got to callbacks yesterday, Jeroy the director had already cast his Chicklet and it seemed like he had her in mind from the start. also she seems like she'll do a good job with the role so i certainly dont begrudge her that..... much.
However, Marvel Ann is a fairly large role, she comes in and out of the play throughout and is the sexy, man crazy blonde bombshell of a gal who gets her head shaved by the crazy Chicklet..
the other role i was up for was Bettina Barnes, the porn star, but she's a much smaller role and not having acted for reals in a while I really wanted to stretch the acting muscle a bit this go around. Rocky Horror does not count as acting.
this should be FUN.

Sweeney is coming along nicely, i drew pictures of cute little dead people singing the ballad of sweeney todd. well I think theyre cute. My class thinks im slightly psychotic. well maybe only when I get into Sweeney mode.
Today I'm trying to find the motivation for cleaning the apartment...im doing it in spurts but no real DRIVE is hitting me...ah well.
our neighbors are ASSHOLES.
