I get to see Harry Potter tonight! Whoooohooo!! And my book club ladies and JP will be with me. Let the craziness begin.

Our local cupcake place is doing two days of Harry Potter inspired cupcake flavors. (If you have Facebook you can click here to see the treats).  Have I died and gone to heaven. Cupcakes AND Harry Potter. Dear Lord. Last week I had the Harry Potter (white cake with raspberry filling, white butter cream frosting and chocolate lightning bolt) and a Dumblerdore (white cake with cherry filling, cream cheese frosting, and a white chocolate wizard hat . . . and silver glitter.) LOVED them. I've heard rumors that the Chocolate Frog and Snape are wonderful. There are 35 flavors in all. Do you think I'll get sick if I try all of them?

Did I mention that I’m seeing Harry Potter tonight? I am sooo stoked! (Must remember to pack Kleenex. No more HP movies. *sniffles*)

My favorite dance of the week from SYTYCD. Yep, it’s Marko and Melanie . . . AGAIN. The top ten have been chosen. Now the competition really starts. (The actual dance is from 45 seconds to 2:15.)

I think I wrote 3000 words this week. I suspect that many of them will land on the proverbial editing room floor. It was one of those weeks that I could not get my fingers and brain to communicate with each other. But hey, first drafts are all about capturing the skeleton. Anyhooo . . . here’s the teaser . . .

I turned to them and that’s when I saw it rolling across the night sky. It was large . . . smoke . . . rain clouds . . . ?

“He’s started,” Rees said. “We must work quickly.”

“What is that?” I pointed.

Without turning, she said, “Those are the distractions I warned you about. Guardian Arama, it is imperative that you focus on my voice. Do you understand?” Rees asked.

Impossible, I thought. I nodded.
