A Decison and A Question

Feb 07, 2011 11:03

To everyone who gave valuable feedback on Diyari Chronicles, THANK YOU! I I have grown as a writer. The story is better than it ever would have been. Nonetheless, I feel it is time to set it aside. Sure, can continue to move things around, add, take away, alter, etc...but I feel those actions are selfishly motivated. It is time to call it. Time of death, 1:15 AM (CST), February 7, 2011. Diyari Chronicles is going in the proverbial trunk (along with the other two books in the triology). Do I hear Taps playing?

Okay, now to my question. In The Collector, I have a number of flashback scenes. The book is written in first person, present. I was not sure what tense to make the flashbacks. One scene is dissociative in nature, so it makes sense for it to be in present tense. The other scenes. however, I wrote in past tense. Is that correct?

(Regarding apartment updates, I have none.)
