Last year i wrote down the books I read on my calendar. Or at least I did tht until June, at which time I forgot to write down my reading adventures. By years end I had a rough idea of how many books I had read. This year I'm going to be more deliberate. (And it is kinda of jarring to see how many books I read in one month. It's hard to deny I'm addict.)
2011 Reading List
January
1. Prom by L. Halse-Anderson: Not my favorite story of hers, but I love her writing. Ashley is funny. (Audio)
2. Incarceron by C Fisher: Not a page turner for me. A bit predictable. Descent.
3. The Duff by K. Keplinger: REALY liked! Funny. Witty. A Pride and Prejudice/Wuthering Heights vibe. (Audio)
4. Never Let Me Go by Ishiguro: (BCP) Meh.
5. Night Star by A. Noel: This put the 6-book series (that should really be 3-books) back on track. Thank goodness.
6. Someday This Pain Will Be Useful by P. Cameron: REALY liked. Funny. Witty.
7. Prom & Prejudice by E. Eulberg: Light, easy read. VERY much like P&P with a few twists for good measure.
8. Stolen by L. Christopher: Slow unfolding. At times I wanted more. But I’m happy I finally read it.
9. Warped by M. Guibord: I liked A LOT. Funny, fast-paced, great kisses.
10. Ship Breaker by P. Baci… (Audio) I couldn’t get through the first CD. Sorry.
11. Tyger Tyger by K. Hamilton: I wanted to really like this book about goblins. It was okay. (Maybe I heard too much hype.)
12. The Shifter by J. Hardy: I really liked this. Using pain as a weapon. The politics. The world. Nice.
13. Thirteen Reasons Why by J. Asher: I really liked. Good balance of making the reader sympathize and not sympathize.
