So guess where I will on November 19, 2010 at 7:30 pm. Go on, guess. Nope. Guess again. You're not a good guesser. I’ll just tell you. I and seven other friends will be at the theater watching Harry Potter. But not just any friends. Nope. Fanatical friends. And not just any theater. Nope. The best one in town. I will be sitting in the balcony, pushing one button on my seat to warm my fanny, and pushing another button to have some young high schooler bring me a BIG plate of chicken nachos. Ah. Nirvana. Thank you Ame and Courtney for hanging out with all the other HP fanatics to get us tickets.
I wasn’t sick this week. Trust me, this is worthy of top five mention.
I read two really great stories: Twenty Boy Summer by Okler and North of Beautiful by Headly. Please note that there is no stripper pole or syringe in place of my cake icon. This means that reading Twenty Boy Summer, considered a scandalous read, did not turn me into a person of questionable moral fiber. As I said in my Good Reads review, “I get more turned on watching a cologne commercial on tv.”
I got a pic of baby Alli in her Halloween costume. She is the cutest ghost ever. I know. I know. Ghost are not supposed to be cute. But she is. J.P. did a fabulous job making her costume. I’m telling you, Alli has a great mom.
I read the first 150 pages of Diyari Chronicles. And guess what. Oh, forget it. You’ve shown me your guessing skills are subpar. I love you anyway. Anyhoooooo…..I actually liked the changes. I know, right. Now let’s see if I like the last 150 pages as well.
Hugs and Encouragement!
(P.S. The Rally to Restore Sanity will be on the Comedy Network and I believe streamed live on the internet on October 30th.)
