Why don't you just rain on my parade..
Well... a lot has occurred since I last wrote. I took my last final in Stat and I am officially DONE WITH SUMMER CLASSES!! Literally, as I walking to my car, I just wanted to scream I was so psyched. Last weekend was definitely a blast. After my exam I got some stuff ready for the beach. Then Khadijeh came over after work and we went to the mall and bought really cute outfits and she got a bathing suit. Then we came back to my house and she stayed over. My parents were still out of town. But don't worry, there were no parties that night! We woke up really early Friday and headed out to the beach. We were both so incredibly excited. We even had our bathing suits on already, ready to go! When we got the beach we booked a hotel. It didn't take long. The hotel was pretty nice and on 4th street which is good because we planned on NOT being able to drive places. Our room wasn't quite ready yet so we went on the beach for a little while. Then we came back to the hotel and changed. Then we went where else but the liquor store. That was very important. We went clubbing that night, did a little drinking, saw some people we knew, just had fun. Saturday we were stupid. We both layed in the sun for too long. I was fine aside from getting real dark and a bit burnt, but Khadijeh got sun poisoning. That totally sucked. But on my way to get her some medicine I ran into an old friend which was cool. The rest of the night didn't go as planned since Khadijeh was sick but it's ok. THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT TIME!!! I was so depressed to come back. Now I just want to be at the beach soooo... bad. Oh well. Here's the worst part, I came back to NO AC. Our air conditioning unit died and we're without ac for who knows how long. And believe me, it's DEFINITELY stifling in here. But actually, right now it's pouring and it feels fabulous. I'm so freakin hot in here. IT's hard to sleep at night too. I suppose I could sleep at a friend's house but I feel bad for my parents because they can't just get up and do that. So I'm grinning and bearing it. Last Sunday Chris and I saw Spider Man 2, which was really good. Then Monday night I saw Alisa, we went to Starbucks.. the usual. Yesterday my mom and I made the big mistake of seeing Shrek 2 in the theater. I'm not usually into that sort of thing but I just recently saw Shrek and thought it was really funny and I heard the 2nd one was really good so I thought what the hell. Um... NO!!! The second one sucked and there were screaming and crying children everywhere. Last night Chris and just went out to eat and then chilled out. I'm about to leave and help Barbara out, make some $, then go to the gym with Khadijeh and kick it. That's about it...........
