A year ago today, I received an email saying I'd been accepted by my current company to do an internship in Portugal. One of my first thoughts was, IS THIS AN APRIL FOOL'S JOKE? Oh, aweomse! ibroketuesday sent me a huge list of things to see and do around Frankfurt so I am really looking forward to it! :D

She lived there for a while and recommended Bacharach, Bingen, Heidelberg, Trier, and a few other towns a couple of hours away from Frankfurt. I'm from Michigan USA.

Even after tickets get sold out, you can always buy them from someone if you decide you wanna go.

Bacharach is completely adorable (and right in your neighborhood, you should go!) but Bingen is only notable for having a sort of touristy boat-ride down the Rhein.

I've been to several! They're a lot of fun, especially if you go with your friends. It doesn't hurt if the city is amazing too. :D
