warped tour 2009

I loved Warped this year! Aside from all the new crazy bubble gum pop punk fans who drool over the boys with hair longer than mine (All Time Low, Attack Attack), and over-the-top "new age" "rock" techno autotune lovers (Millionares, Brokencyde) I had an AMAZING time watching some of my favorite bands play. Not to mention there was not a fee for parking, and nothing was too over-priced.

This was my third time seeing Bayside play live, and i'm always very impressed with their performances. The pit is always fun, the dudes the pit are really into the fact that im a girl and I mosh/crowd surf. I met Bayside at their signing. Anthony Raneri was a little disappointing, I thought he would've had more energy. But maybe it was an off-day for him. He was a little quiet, and I managed to snap a camera phone picture with him. My hands were SHAKING like a bitch, I was so nervous to meet these guys. They've helped me out alot through out the last year or so. I got my poster signed for my dorm room (eeee!!! =D)

I saw VersaEmerge again. I had met them before-hand when they were all chillin at the tent. Meeting them was not nerve-wracking at all. They're all close to my age, I don't really idolize them as much as I do with Anthony Raneri. I had a good conversation with the lead singer, Sierra and guitarist, Blake. Blake's cute, Sierra's cuter.
Their set was one of the best of the day! Except aboutt 60% of the crowd were guys trying to get a look at Sierra to really see if she was "hot". Most of them left after the first song. It wasn't hard for me to get to the front of the crowd, the crowd was very dead. It was kinda disappointing that me and about 3 other people knew the lyrics, but the band appreciated us that much more. The last song was good, everyone started moving with the encouragement of the band. Sierra promised to give every person that crowd surfed a high five. I did a few crowd surf's and got mine. =)
The crowd was very small itself, so it was pretty amusing when five of us or so opened a pit. This really, really big guy did a rolling flip right through the middle hahaha. My boyfriend saw Sierra blow a failed snot rocket, it got caught on her cheek. Mmmm. She got down from the stage and came into the crowd which got people even more hyped.
But serious props to these Florida kids, I love them.

I also saw Saosin (very satisfying), There for Tomorrow, Jeffree Star (for about 3 minutes.), Scary Kids Scaring Kids, and Chiodos.
When we were leaving I stopped by the VersaEmerge tent to mention that they had a great set. I got there and Sierra gave me a big hug saying "You were awesome today, thank you so much!" We talked a little bit about the set and how they need to come back to Jersey more, and I'll always keep the crowd hyped. My boyfriend mentioned the snot rocket, which embarassed her and had the rest of her band laughing. I'm gonna miss that band when they get big, so I'll hold onto these memories.

Warped Tour > Bamboozle.

I have a few mobile uploads.
