There and back again -
Oh! If only my feet were much, much hairier...
So. I've just made my last trip of the year to FL for class. This is a huge relief ;0) Because Florida was hot. Really effing hot. 80 to 90 degrees, occasionally 90 to 100, and super humid. Because it's Florida. I know.
Meanwhile, back in NoVA (Northern Virginia) - Autumn arrived in my absence. And I was missing it. And now I'm not. So I'm verymuch happy to be back in cooler weather with leaves beginning to change color. The ubiquitous blue hoodey has made it's appearance and should be around throughout the coming Winter.
As the weather cools - I've a whim to make up some real, delicious broth from scratch. . .

bake some fresh bread of some kind or other - - rye seems to be calling me out. . . . and roast a few things. Beets, I think. And whole bulbs of garlic. Mmmmmm.
I also suppose that I should plant a few onions out on the balcony, and perhps we can scrounge another crop of greens.
The gremlins are shuffling about in my brain. eeeeeeheeheeheee!
