It's almost over, and not a moment too soon...
Well, for those of you who haven't read my myspace... I got a new job. Body Shop has been fun, but there is no advancement in sight, they don't pay worth shit, and the benefits suck. I am also so sick of the freakin' ghetto ass shoplifters who are so pathetic because they can't pay for a $7.50 shirt. I don't have time to do full time security... which is what I would need to do on weekends just to make sure that did not happen. Also, are store is too small and there is too much in it... the fixtures create seventy thousand blind spots.
Anyway, for the new job... I got a manager trainee position at Buckle. They train you to run your own store in 6 months to a year. Also, the stores are set up so it's pretty hard to shoplift--very open, censors on everything. I can't wait for the shear fact alone that I am really good friends with everyone who works there. The pay is better, the benefits are better... and I am being promised my own store when I complete my training.
Don't get me wrong... I am going to miss Patti and the girls a ton, but I am just going to be across the way and down a couple stores... I will see them all the time. I would love to be more sad to leave, but the attitude my DM and Regional gave me when they came for a visit last Thursday only made it easier for me to leave. Thank you ladies for having no class.
