well, today and this whole weekend i have been working with teh ugly lappertopper. ya know, the dell i had for like a month. they kept mr mac overnight, and consequently the whole weekend because im not driving all the way out there if i dont have to. Basically, the new casing they put on the bottom wasnt compatible with some other piece of casing (i dont know why though) and so i guess they just gave me all new stuff. the guy on the phone said it looked pretty. i will be so happy to see mr mac. mostly because im finding it very difficult to use a windows-based laptop. like, i can kinda stand using the bootcamped windows on mr mac because all the button-age is the same. but here, oh ew. the tiniest little track pad, along with TWO clicker buttons. and no apple button :(. and every time i want to close out a window, i go to the left side of the screen. and no dashboard. no good. kinda funny all in all i guess.

but i am still productive, because all i have to do is write an essay. and thats due like, tuesday. im pretty far ahead. i dont know if i have any other work to do. that could be bad. but i dont really care.

after some thought, i think im going to apply back at publix. stop by on friday nights to get a few hours of work in before i go home. that would be enough to cover gas most weekends. 4-10 would be nice. and then during holidays and stuff i could make a little extra money that way. at this point i just have to find a job; not necessarily because i need one, but because my parents wont let me keep coming home if i dont get one. so yeah. it will also be nice that i wont have to worry about working during the week with all the random crap im assigned to do. yay.

and the clemson thing? ive lost. i cant make them see things the way i do. so at least this full year. and you know, if i absolutely had to stay there until i finished, its going to take 2.5 years from now. i wont let it go any longer. i refuse.

now i guess im going to fool around until i decide to make lunch.

mr mac, work, school
