If it isn't one bloody thing, it's another, isn't it?
I left the Highlands and that blasted Bastion of theirs only to get shoved over to the Firelands on some hare-brained mission to grow a tree on the plane of fire and Light knows why, sometimes I think druids are just half cracked from spending all that time as cats- have you seen how cats behave?
Anyway, so now I'm out in this desolate, hot, fiery, hot, dangerous and bloody hot front of theirs, scouting and taking out those other druids when I can catch them alone out there. Who needs scouts out there, anyway? Yes, I've found something, it's MORE FIRE. Imagine that.
It hasn't been entirely useless, at least- I've acquired a few new companions out of it. Lava spiders. They're wonderful creatures, really, as long as you can keep them from melting things around them. They seem to cool down a bit once they're out of the Firelands so I've at least not had to worry about the camp going up in flames, but if they get upset...well, the lawn has some small, scorched craters in it. Not that I mind, that's more trap pits I don't need to dig myself. Chalfriald can handle it, and anyone else trying to sneak up on the place is going to have some rather nasty surprises that involve pits, traps, webs, and some very irritated giant spiders. I'd like to see Daggle worm his way out of THAT, the bloody little pain in the ((the pen's gone through the page here, leaving a hole.))
Speaking of Chalfriald, I haven't been seeing as much of him lately. I'm sure he's off doing his best to get himself torn apart somewhere as usual, probably throwing himself teeth first at the Forsaken. I'd be less worried if I thought the bloody idiot had learned anything from all of the stupid stunts he's pulled, honestly, I don't know why I bother.
Whether he's had any more sense knocked into him this time or not, next time he shows his face here I'm going to have the spiders make sure he's not going anywhere for a while.
