With the state of things as they are, especially having seen what we're up against...I really can't help but think it's a matter of time. That giant, flaming death-dragon is what's trying to destroy things, apparently, and- fel, I don't see how we'll manage to deal with something like that. Aspect of Death, miss Telica called it. I see why. I'm just glad I didn't get a close look, and even more glad that I had time to make sure I was as far away as I could get.
If it's going to be a matter of time then I suppose it's somewhat counter-intuitive to waste it, as I mentioned to Chalfriald. I really don't understand it, he's abrasive, a royal pain in the arse, not to mention almost twice my bloody age- and none of that actually deters me for some ridiculous reason. It really should but I suppose these things don't exactly follow any sort of sensible trains of thought...but then neither do a lot of things, these days, and if he's honest about caring for me...well. If I might not have another chance then why not?
Taking a short break from the Highlands to go to Northrend with Chal. I haven't ever traveled there, and besides, there's a thing or two I'd like to check out. If these...what were they, vrykul?- are as tough as he claims they are, we'll see how well they stand up to a well-placed shot or two, and I want to see that mine he's mentioned.
Things in the Lines continue as normal, with Nils being prodded about her...'swords' and poor Woodruff not understanding much of anything. Really, as much as Nils shows them off, it's hardly surprising people pay attention. Shove something in their faces and they'll notice, especially when 'something' is...that.
