Nether, I could really get used to this. It's kinda nice being back to wandering wherever, just enjoying the scenery and the weather and just sort of living without having tomorrow to worry about...well, except this time it's both of us and not just me.
I like it better this way.
Not that I don't want to get back on duty, it's just...so damn nice to have a real break after everything that's happened. Just getting to sit around and drink and fish and hunt on our own schedule for a week.
...Honestly up until it was over with I was still kinda afraid he was gonna change his mind, but I think this is definitely proof he's really been serious about this whole thing, about me. After being out here for a few days enjoying everything...I don't know, I still don't quite feel like settling down, but it seems a little easier to admit that I've pretty much been living with him already, with as much of my downtime as I spend in the Bluff now.
He still gets along with the animals as well as I do, occasionally better, but considering he's got more experience I guess it's only natural. Still, Strider seems to be getting on really well with him and I half-wonder if he's not gonna end up more attached to Sil than me. I'm not as good with raptors, so ((the ink suddenly trails off in a line to the edge of the page))
