Road Trip???
Okay so the wheels in my head are turning again. So this trip in June may have gotten more confusing, but I'm not sure yet. So I'm sitting here at work thinking about how much time to take off and how much time to spend in Oregon visiting people etc. and then I got to thinking that I'd also like to see my grandparents if they don't come over for Devin's graduation. In the lower 48 it's easy to drive places. So I mapquested the trip if we (Brandon and I, maybe Bill too) were to go down to Oregon (Portland/Salem) and then over to Missoula and back to Seattle. It's 1313.28 miles from my house to Brandon's grandma's to my grandparents' back to my house.
From Seattle to Salem: 228.59 miles (3 hr 50 mins)
From Salem to Missoula: 559.73 miles (9 hr 23 mins)
From Missoula to Seattle: 484.97 miles (7 hr 16 mins)
So this would mean probably driving to Salem one day hitting Portland on the way, seeing Brandon's grandma and staying there, leaving late morning for Missoula staying at my grandparents, and drving back the next day. So it's like 3 days at the quickest.
So yeah...thoughts? Other idea courtesy of my mom...trying to talk the grandparents into meeting us somewhere in Eastern Washington. Maybe I've lost it, who knows.
