Well...Florida was a great time. I loved spending time with my dad, sister, her fiancee, and their friends. Flew down on Friday night and went out to dinner with my dad, and saturday afternoon went to a party at the pool in my sister's apartment complex 0:o) It was definately an interesting day there haha. Saturday night my daddy and I hung out at his apartment just relaxing. Sunday Dad and I hit up Universal Studios (the original...not Islands of Adventure - that'll be next years park haha) That was fun - ended the night with a BBQ at my sisters house. Monday I spent the morning at the pool!! Did some reading - well maybe a chapter lol - it was an excellent day just laying around. I love the atmosphere down there and the people are so welcoming. I could see myself living in an environment like that, but we'll see what happens with life. Monday night I got to go to Ripleys - curtosy of Cat! That was interesting - fun but embarrassing at times haha. Tuesday I got up early to take my dad to work so I could have the car for the day. I didn't kill anyone driving down there!! Toooo much traffic and crazy drivers. Went shopping :o) and then Daddy and I had dinner at home that night just us 2. Wednesday I was lazy, got a majority of my first book for Independent study done which was nice. That night we went to dinner at Carrabbas *sp* - it was really good - with Bill and Cat. After we went to go Minigolfing but it was closed so we just went to a gift shop :o) Thursday morning Daddy took me to the airport at 730 for my flight home. I cried a little - like a little baby - it was just too weird going home without my dad. Rochester is home...it always will be home. Him staying in Florida was just too much to handle for me. and I know I'm almost 20 and my dad can do what he wants, but it was more difficult than I had expected. My flight from Newark to Roc was late - as it always is, but I got in safe with all of my stuff!! Thursday nigth Peter came over for dinner and we watched Smackdown together. I won't lie - I don't mind watching it anymore. I think it's kind of entertaining, or I've just been pulled into that "soap opera" of sorts.
Anyways...Friday I went to breakfast with Margaret then headed to RWC with some stuff to move into the dorms. Hurrah! That was fun - moving furniture all throughout the dorms haha. I went out to dinner and a movie with Pete that night since I was in FL for our 3 month anniversary. Time has flown - it seems like I just met him :o) but I do love every minute with him. Classes started last monday - it's going to be a challenging semester, but if I can get through this then I'll be fine for the rest of college!! Had our track meeting wednesday night. Pre-season is starting on the 21 - Got in a really good workout today for that too. I'm psyched for this season. I have such a different attitude towards everything this year. I really feel this is going to be a good season for me and everyone on the team. The team has a new attitude too, which is always helpful. Can't wait for season to start - I'm excited.
But it's back to the book review...maybe I'll get better at updating again ;-)
Going to see Exorcism of Emily Rose *thanks James* tonight. I'm sure I'll be scared for the next week.
