Happy surprises and the like...
Aloha. First off, Bob called me this weekend, and it was delightful to hear from him. If I haven't called you, it's because (and this is weird, I know), if you're not a person I call pretty frequently, I'll assume that I'm bothering you if I call. Yah. So I like when people call me. It makes me happy and joyous. :)
Otherwise, the boy and I took a long walk today, and discovered...::drumroll, please::...a new, independent bookstore 4 blocks from the apartment that opened last week, AND an adorable cafe that opened over the summer, really close to the bookstore. YES!!! YES YES YES! Oh, the joy.
This weekend, I made: 1 scarf, Chelsea's birthday present, 12 pairs of earrings, a pwem, and pizza bagels. Yah, you read that right. Pizza bagels.
