I promised, long ago, that I would write this entry for Joe Jewell, so here it is:
I turn 20 tomorrow. BLAH! It's so crazy. So in honor of the event, today Erika and I set out on a mission. This mission had many goals:
1. Physical Fitness
2. Doing all (or most) of the things I was suppose to do when I turned 18, but didn't do.
Mission accomplished.
We walked on the beach for like an hour or so where we saw this really cool convertable van. Basically a van with the roof cut off. It was still cool. We took a picture, but I can't find my camera cable right now, so you'll just have to wait.
Next, we set out to do the following: by a lottery ticket, buy cigarettes and go in the porn room in some video store. We did them all. First we went to the Shell station and bought the lottery ticket ( i didn't win) some Magic Brownie Ben & Jerry's and some Basics and then we went to Video Palace in hopes that Amber Wygent would be working, so it wouldnt' be weird when we went in to the porn room. She was working and she got a kick out of us. We took lots of pictures of these events, but again, they're coming soon. Then we scratched the ticket, ate the ice cream and watched Full House. All in all, a very good day-before-my-20th-birthday-day.
So, I also had a birthday party this weekend. It was great! Geoff came in on Friday and we went to Austin's beach party for a while. Then we left with Rachel, Erika and Jason to go to the Chocolate Cafe and then swinging at Lincoln Township Park. We ended up staying at the park till like 1ish and then just going home. It was really fun to just chill and talk (though I think Geoff was bored....sorry babe).
Then Laura and Paul came in from Toronto Saturday afternoon and we hit up the beach before the party. Amanda and Christine made it to the party too, even though they had to leave early so they could work in the morning. It was so much fun! Almost all of my friends were there! Plus, I got great gifts! Flip Flops, a hat, some sleep pants, a pillow, 2 movies, a super great photo album and best of all: a desk Geoff made and U2 CONCERT TICKETS!!!! I was totally floored! I can't wait. The concert is in Detroit in October. Woot Woot!
Anyway, I turn 20 in 13 minutes. It's exciting.
So John took me out to lunch today. It was very nice of him and I ate away all of his BTS (that's Big Teacher's Salary, for those who don't know) on a very nice shrimp and pasta dish. Delish. Thanks Mr. Big Stuff.
I'm just going to drag this entry out until midnight, k?
I leave for Montana in a few days. On Friday to be exact. It'll be interesting. We're bringing my cousin Jason, which I have mixed feelings about, but hopefully it will be ok and no deaths will occur. 7 minutes. Sometimes Montana can be really fun. I hope this will be one of those times. We're going to Yellowstone and some other places, so that should spruce things up. I like nature. I need to put more music on my Dellpod before the trip.
So I'm starting to take the word "go" out of sentences. It's great fun. Try it: Shall we to church? Shall we down the stairs? Shall we to Martin's Supermarket? Try using it today. Good times, great oldies.
4 minutes. Well, this is about as far as I can drag this out. E-mail me if you're ever bored. I'd love to hear from you!
Happy Ending.
3 minutes.
