****ZAYE UPDATE****
I've been planning on doing an update for a couple of weeks now, but I wanted to wait to celebrate Zaye's birthday. Her mom and I had been planning on giving her a party at home because her birthday was going to follow the intense therapy that was scheduled for her. This 2nd setback came on really quickly. She was doing SO well at the rehab, her mom and her doctors had no warning signs. I can't say how she's going to feel tomorrow. It's really a day by day and at times hour by hour process. She can look at the computer for a while, but she can't type anything. We started watching "Warrior" yesterday during her birthday party. I downloaded the episode from iTunes and she made it half way through, but then her neck started to hurt and she couldn't focus on it any longer. She's having this discomfort from the mass at the base of her brain creating pressure.
I'm beta-ing a Chloe centric fic for Kirsten and I read some of it to Zaye earlier today before she fell asleep. She actually had some questions about it and helped me with some of my notes on it. I will definitely read some of the Twitter messages to her tomorrow, because she LOVES Chloe and I just know they will provide a much needed distraction for both of us.
