Now I love a good cooking/recipe website and I find that I continually find inspiration from http://www.taste.com.au for my weekly cookup. It's a very versatile site and full to the brim of recipes that will appeal to all whatever your cooking style is. I really recommend it if you haven't visited it before.

Each recipe has a facility for readers to comment on what they thought of the dish once they made it. I like it as it is a good guide to whether the dish is suitable to cook or not. People comment on how they adapted it to suit or whether cooking times need adjusting etc. Now I'm all for adapting recipes to suit tastes or what is in the cupboard. This is where creativity comes into play. It's something I do a lot of and enjoy slightly tweaking recipes if I think that they need it. I don't however do it if the recipe is fine as it reads for me. What I do laugh at though is when someone comments how they completely changed a recipe and still call the original wonderful! Ha..you idiot. You just COMPLETELY changed it. Why bother comment on a recipe that is not even anything like what you created except perhaps the method and cooking times?

This is a funny example...It's a Chorizo pilaf and the commenter at the very end completely changed nearly every ingredient..lol
