My stance on reposting (rare public posting.)
I am joining a lot of my friends on f-list and stating - clearly - that I do NOT want my comments in f-lock - or frankly any of my comments from this account - reposted on Facebook or Twitter.
This is my PERSONAL account - I repost my personal fan fiction from here and personal commentary from here - but I also keep in mind that employers crawl the net looking for any reason NOT to hire you and I am still searching for employment and they do check FB and Twitter info and postings. I don't want my personal opinions thrown back in my face when interviewing for jobs, or for any other reason.
Comments on my fan fiction go to my dreamwidth account, and are public domain, but are held to a public standard (no profanity, etc.) - even then, I still don't want my comments made privately, anywhere, reposted.
Private is PRIVATE. Comments made between me and my f-list I consider private. Period.
If anyone feels the need to post my comments to FB or Twitter WITHOUT my permission, you WILL be defriended and blocked.
