I am still in my pajamas, which are red plaid Aerie pants, and aloe socks, and a pink Express hoodie from like ten years ago, and an oversized lemon colored v-neck t-shirt (I hate crews) which is much too see-through. It’s freezing and snowing and Jeff brought me back a coffee when he went this morning for a haircut.
I worked out and watched farewell my queen and watch what happens live and ate a banana chocolate muffin. FMQ was good, kind of like a subtitled downton abbey with the threat of getting one’s head chopped off. Jeff wouldn’t have liked it. He thinks many of my indie movies are too slow and too talk-y and maybe they are but I don’t mind!
I cleaned out my two “junk” drawers…whoah, the treasures you’ll find! There was a picture of Jeff covering his face in the first apartment, sitting in his first “dad chair” (I remember being like, “do you *need* a dad chair/) wearing his white leather Nike cortese sneakers. We had a plant named Robert, LOL, don’t be too impressed, I do believe I stole the idea from Judy Tenuta…credit where credit is due. There were invitations to family weddings, birth announcements, baby pics, my senior prom pic, my college ID, and signed pictures of all my HS girlfriends.
I also found gift cards from Express, Ann Taylor Loft, and Victoria’s Secret. They probs have pennies on them, if that, but gift cards don’t expire. Also I found an Express credit card, which I cut up, cuz we don’t really do store cards anymore. I admitted to Jeff that it sucked to cut it up cuz I remember when Express was my favorite store ( like it off and on now) and shopping there was kind of an act of rebellion, and he said, “come on, you’re growed up now.”
Okay fine he’s right.
