Now that I've taken care of yesterday morning's blunder of disorganization with accidentally changing the genre of my entire iTunes collection to "Classic Rock," and giving everything a rating of 3 Stars -- I've finally prepared Draft #1 of this year's Christmas playlist. It includes:
3 versions of "The Christmas Song"
Only 2 versions of "Deck the Halls" (but a few more in medleys)
3 versions of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen"
A whopping 5 unique versions of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas"
5 versions of "Jingle Bells" (Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass is my favorite!)
3 versions of "Run Rudolph Run"
4 versions of "Santa Claus is Coming To Town" largely with disagreement on whether there is a g at the end of coming
5 versions of "Silent Night," not all of which are in English, which is odd since I really do insist on being able to sing along!
3 versions of "Sleigh Ride," not all of which are vocal (which won't stop me from singing along)
Surprisingly only 2 versions of "The Twelve Days of Christmas," both of which are comedic (as this song should be)
3 versions of "Winter Wonderland" (Eurythmics is my favorite here)
Gosh, I love the rituals of Christmas!
