ZOMBIE TRACE SMASH

Jun 18, 2008 09:23

Zombie Trace went to the office 1 hour early and worked through lunch yesterday. When Zombie Trace got home last night, Ian was very kind to meet her at the door with a big hug, a smile, and such a tasty brain! Zombie Trace said, "You need to know three things about me: I am hungry. I am tired. And I'm stoooopid." Zombie Trace demanded Mexican food ( Read more... )

I've been eyeballing the Honda Fit personally for a year or so now. First I plan to suck out the life of the free yet ancient Camry I got from my brother. And spend money on a vacation because, really, it'll be 10 years of being married so a vacation is a must!

That doesn't quite read like it's meant to. But you know what I mean.

I haven't given the Fit any test drives yet, so if you guys check it out, gimme the scoop!

I know you guys are Honda fans in general. Personally, I perceive Honda and Toyota to be about virtually identical in all aspects, and full of positive goodness.

I remember reading an article in Kiplinger's about a year ago comparing the Honda Fit, Toyota Yaris, and Nissan... something. I think the Fit was their fav pick financially, but I can't be sure. I want to look that up.

I actually adore both Toyota and Honda. I had a Tercel, Corolla and a Celica before our Honda CR-V. I was originally in love with the Rav4, but upon giving it, the Honda and the Kia Sportage test drives, I found the Rav 4 to have a terrible use of space. And was too small for Mark with his monkey long legs, if I recall. It seems to have improved a whole lot since then (97 or 98), but that's how I ended up with my first Honda. :)

And I do find my little car reliable overall, despite having like 180k miles. It's just that the car itself is rusting out from under the reliable engine. =(

I luuurve my 4-Runner. If Ian does not talk me into trading it in, I will drive it until the wheels fall off... or we run out of fossil fuels. Even so, if he does make me trade it in, I will probably go with the Prius.

Oh -- no Cruise Control available, however -- or so the Build Yer Own on the website seemed to indicate.

I see cruise control as a standard feature, but only on the Fit Sport.

Hmm, clearly this bears further investigation. "Lead Foot" over here listed cruise control as one of the features he really wants to make sure he gets in any car.
