Yup. And the flagship game of Kings Gate's pretty cool to. Much with the Swash your buckles and rennisance period stuff as opposed to the standard Dark Age/Feudal setting that most larps tend to fall into.

I appreciate that, it certainly isn't the first time the game has been recommended to me over the years.
I've never been because I don't much care for the rules system, but more so - I'm sad to say I've heard from several distinct sources that the game is very cliquish. While I've heard good things lately about it, I can only imagine that with time, the cliquishness has increased, not decreased.

I don't think it's intentional -- He wrote the background stories long before Castro got ill. :) (Lee made his presentation to RBP this past Spring, and El Presidente went into the hospital sometime in the middle of the summer.)
But who knows... It would make an interesting tie-in. :)
