Not My Dress Returns to Normal
I've been giving you all some pretty atrocious dresses lately, so it's time to get back to giving you some that are just so-so.
Not My Dress - Week 28
This week's dress is a David's Bridal creation: Strapless Tulle Ball Gown with Beaded Corded Lace
Reasons this is Not My Dress
- I'm not even going to pick on the Tulle in this one. I'm just going to point out that it's there. Just take it for granted that for Tracey, well, we all know how she feels about tulle in general.
- In truth, I think the silhouette (obviously I've been watching some Project Runway lately) of this dress is pretty and flattering. What I have an issue with is the checkerboard pattern covering most of her torso. I don't have a problem with a pattern being there, I just don't like the checkerboard up against the lace bodice
- And believe it or not, I don't even have a third thing to add to this one! Which is testament to the fact that it really is an okay dress, just not for me. :)
I challenge you to pick it apart at your leisure, if you can. Muahaha!
In other news, I'm a little antsy today. I'm ready for the work day to end and tomorrow (or tonight...I'll take tonight) to come! What I don't want to happen is that this sore throat is really more than just allergy related. That wouldn't be good for tomorrow, but if it is a cold or something, I'm prepared to deal with it and put on a good face regardless. :)
