Fun and Busy Weekend
Weekend was really busy, but wicked fun. So it got a little hectic leading up until prom because Ben wasn't able to get a limo big enough, so me and Lauren had to go back to our old limo. Lauren and I both got pretty pissed at him, but it wasnt nearly enough to be angry at him for more than a couple of hours, so there's no hard feelings. At 3:30 on friday, I left for Lauren's. Walked into her house and saw her standing in the door way to her room with her dress on. She looked amazing. We exchanged corsage and boutonniere and then took picture at Laurens, went across the street to Jana's were Devin, Joe, Jana, and Carolina were, took more pictures, then departed for Katie's. Took yet more pictures at Katie's (my eyes started to hurt from flashes and my face hurt from smiling), then we finally got into the limo. Ride there was fun, got to prom a little after six. Lauren and I checked in and got the official pictures done then sat down at our table. Prom itself was eating, talking, and dancing. The food was good, the company was good, the dancing was good (but the music selection could have been better), and over all I had a good time. The limo ride home was great. We stopped at Wendys' and got frosties and fries, then we went to Wall-Mart at 12:30 and bought marshmallows. We got back to Katie's around 1 and chilled there til' about 2:30 and watched Eternal Sunshine, then Katie's mom drove Lauren and I to Lisa's. We watched Family Guy til' 3:15, then the girls and guys split up for bed. Everyone fell asleep pretty quick and we slept til' 8 the next morning when Lisa came down. Then I went up and got Lauren and the rest of the girls came down and we all passed out again til' Lisa's mom came down at 10 to ask if we wanted pancakes, and of course we said yes and passed out once more. Got up at 11 to eat breakfast and then pretty just chilled til' two 2 in the afternoon when I left. Dropped off my tux, got home, changed, had my guitar lesson and then right back out the door for Lauren's recital. After that I went out to eat with her and her mom and dad. Got home about 10 and went to bed. Had work from 9-1 today, got home and had lunch, and here I am. As for the rest of today, I gotta type up a lab, go to church, and watch Family Guy tonight. And Monday is me and Lauren's one month anniversary. Yay!
