[ Shelke realizes something is wrong the moment Hojo's brainwaves begin to fluctuate erratically, but the change is so sudden and so drastic that she isn't able to react fast enough. Even as she hits the emergency shutoff switch to begin the shut down sequence, she sees Hojo crumple to his knees, and another moment later she sees the trails of blood streaming down his face. Her expression hardens, heart stalling in her chest with anxiety even as she feels her body flush with cold.
She had not anticipated, had not prepared herself for things going this wrong. She had not, and she should have.
Though she is flooded with anxiety and apprehension, she does not stop. She barely even misses a beat, overriding security measures by reaching behind the tank and unplugging it from the outlet.
Then she opens the tank, mindless of the Mako that pours out into the room. She will quarantine it later. Take measures to stem the radiation contamination. Right now, she just focuses on catching Hojo in her arms, getting him out of the tank and as far away from the source of the Mako as possible. He's heavier than her, but not by a great deal more so she manages the task, getting him as far as the bedroom and onto the bed.
