In all honesty, I can’t say that I’ve ever been more excited for
someone’s birthday in my whole life. It’s not just because it’s his
30th, or because it happens to fall on the most awesome day of the year,
but it’s because it’s the day when the most amazing human being was
born onto this planet.
Frank Anthony Iero. What a person, hmm? He’s gorgeous and talented
and fights for what he believes in and is kind and funny and just
downright the best thing my eyes have ever set their sights on. I feel
humbled that I’ve even been in his presence. He radiates. He’s so
perfect and special and inspires me down to my core, that sometimes I
can’t even fathom how someone like him is even allowed to live on this
deplorable planet. He shines too bright.
Yes, I fucking realize this guy is 12 years older than me and married
with twins. I don’t fucking care. I love him for so much more than
some crush I’ve had on him for the best seven years of my life. He
means so much more to me than that. He’s the one who picks me up when
I’m down. He’s the one whose laugh genuinely makes me laugh and whose
voice gives me chills when he speaks. His words have an impact on me.
The way he fights for the things he loves truly makes me think about
what I’m fighting for in my own life, what I really believe in. What he
does speaks volumes to what kind of person he is. He’s got everything
going for him: a good life, with a career that he’s always dreamed of
doing. When everything gets rough, he doesn’t give up. He doesn’t tell
you that you’re dreams are unattainable, but says to fuck everyone who
tells you that you can’t, and go for what you want anyway. He may not
know what an impact he’s had in my heart, but trust me, he’s done more
for me than I’m even going to admit. And I have no shame that I sound
like an obsessed loser right now.
Frankie fucking Iero is my hero. He has been since the moment I saw
him in that damn I’m Not Okay music video and captured my heart for
eternity. He had been since the moment I heard he was a vegetarian. He
has been through everything else he’s done, and will continue to do in
