You know you're a JROTC geek if....
- You have a Live Journal and more than 80% of what you write about has to do with JROTC
-* Most of your friends (if not all of them) are in JROTC
- You actually look forward to the days when you have to wear your uniform
-* On day when you don't have to wear your uniform, you wear your unit shirt, your flight shirt, or your PT shirt
- You spend a half an hour (or more) the night before preparing your uniform for uniform day
-* Ever day after school you have something to do for JROTC
-* You start saying "yes ma'am/sir" "no ma'am/sir" and "no excuse ma'am/sir" to your female/male teachers/friends
- If you're a female, your hair is cut short so it actually fits in your flight cap
-* You can name the chain of command in your unit
-* when you're turning around, you do an about face.
-* You do flanking movements when you're walking down the hallways.
-* You call everyone by their last name
-* Your boyfriend/girlfriend/crush is in JROTC.
-* You yell at people for stepping on your newly shinned uniform shoes
-* You've ruined at least one pair of tennis shoes from drilling in them on days when you're not in uniform
-* You can read military time as well as standard time and you don't have to count on your fingers to know that 18:43 is the same as 6:42 p.m.
- You go on every singe JROTC sponsored trip
-* You are in every single JROTC after school activity or club
-* You still represent the first flight you were in
-* You know everyone in your unit by their last name, but you don't know most of the cadet's first names.
-* You've had a crush on your flight commander, your group commander, or anyone in a high leadership position.
- You have more service/activity points than any cadet in your grade level
-* You actually understand and can relate to this list.
