3 more days...
And we leave for DC.
All of a sudden, my dad is looking for a van to drive me down there in. We might get one...Which means my mom would get the new van and she offered me her car. Which is the same as my car except it's black and super, super fast. So I might switch cars...
But anyway. I have had a good last few days.
Besides me making about 9 different phone calls over the past couple of weeks and people not returning my calls. (Chris- sorry I didn't call you back. Basketball games=late nights. I will tonight). I guess it just goes to show who your real friends are.
I got together with Janine yesterday at Panera. It was good seeing her again since it has been awhile. I think Janine stayed in touch with MANY more Novi people than I did. So I got all the gossip out of her. It was weird hearing that Sam Perry has to take a year off of school because of some illness. I feel bad for her-DePaul is expensive. More importantly, it is never good to be sick.
On Sunday Michael Estime and his roommate Cody met up with my parents and I to watch the Pistons game at Emagine. I have always thought Michael was sweet, but I have found a new admiration for Cody. Not like I ever thought Cody was a bad guy or anything. So here's the story (the one that really got me)- Mike comes into the theatre. My mom is holding our seats. He hugs her. Which I thought was a little odd, since he's only met her once. But I was like-It's Michael Estime. No biggy. Then Cody hugged her. And Cody has NEVER met her. My mom was sooo surprised. It was so funny/cute. And that is now why I love Cody Williams.
Sadly, although I had a lot of fun watching the game the Pistons lost. The refs sucked. My Pistons sense (like Spidey sense-if I was Spiderman) is not very strong. Let me tell you, I would LOVE to be wrong about this. We all know if the Pistons don't win tonight, it is over. So please win Pistons! Prove my Pistons sense wrong!
The Spurs lost. I was kind of upset by it. Poor Timmy. He was having such a rough night-he looked so nervous. The Suns don't have a chance though. There is no way they can win the next 3 games.
So I at least will be happy to have the Spurs in the Finals (and hoping for the Pistons too).
I have been watching the news a lot lately. Why is there never anything good on the news? Why does our society thrive off of violence?
And I watched President Bush's news conference today. And thought that he didn't mangle the BIG WORDS too much. I was the most inspired by what he said than ever before. So that was like 1 little grain of sand.
Class is pointless tonight. My essays are done. Yay! Helloooo easy A!
And I wish Luther Vandross hadn't have had a stroke. :( He was so talented.
